Re: All the personal questions
But yeah I think ID thieves can find info on you using your birthdate so be careful about that
Not sure why telling someone what kind of job you have would matter? Unless maybe you gave out the exact place you worked, but I'm a public employee so that's public knowledge already
Re: All the personal questions
Same with me and my University College, I don't run around telling people which one I go to, but if you wanted to know you can find out. And really it isn't like you could do anything with that information. Because like most things in Norway we don't identify with our names online, but numbers and I don't share those with anyone.
Re: All the personal questions
(Anonymous) 2013-04-08 02:42 am (UTC)(link)I don't know where they'd go from there to narrow it down to one person, honestly, but I think that's rather enough information for somebody with the means to get somewhere with it.
That said, I've pretty much accepted that if somebody wanted to find me badly enough, they'd be able to do so whether I was careful or not - hackers are resourceful creatures. I stay anon for personal reasons, and the information I've made public on my various accounts isn't exactly accurate, so it'd be a little difficult for somebody to casually track me down. (Though my morbid curiosity would like to see them try.)

(Anonymous) 2013-04-08 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)Anyone wants to hurt me, bring it on. I'm stronger than I look and I go full Hulk mode when pissed off.
