Having a dissenting opinion from most of fandom doesn't make someone a troll. I'm not in the SPN fandom, but if I were I'd be pretty annoyed that I was the only one just wanting to write Sam and Dean as brothers.

That said, I would have worded this secretly a little differently.

It's not really like that; a LOT of people write Sam & Dean as brothers. There is a lot of gen in the fandom, and a lot of brothers-kicking-ass casefic. It's a really varied fandom, though that's not really obvious from the secrets.

Then I apologize. It just seemed to me that was the majority of the fic, especially given comments friends actually in the fandom have made.

Nah, I think at this point the majority (maybe not by a huge margin) of romantic fic is Dean/Castiel.

And you'd be wrong :3 but people tend to overestimate that section of the fandom due to the loud, the crazy, and the entitled. Or maybe it's the super common combination of all 3...

You obviously wouldn't be the only one though, given the many, many times we've seen secrets like this before.
