I know! I was about six months old when it came out, and though I recorded it on TV not so long ago, I didn't see it until I went to the theater.

Then I came back, pulled it from the DVR, and said "WHAT'S THE POINT!"

I've watched it more times than I can count since childhood; it's still a great story with cool effects in any format, but I can easily see getting spoiled by the big-screen awesomeness if your first exposure to it was in theaters.

(III was the first one I was old enough to see that way, and I still remember it fondly because of that.)
