(Oh right, opinion on the actual secret, kinda forgot about that... I agree with you! And yeah Coulson being in it is making me want to watch it even more, but I would still have watched it. Though it is nice to have a familiar face, but if I had the choice, I would have preferred Barton over Coulson, because I like seeing Jeremy Renner on a regular basis...)

Haha, you and your Jeremy Renner. :p I imagine he's too busy with his film career to do a television show. Plus, he's one of the Avengers and this show is supposed to be about SHIELD so...it's a bit different. Maybe he could make an appearance though? IDK.

And you are so right, having a (popular) familiar face can only be a positive thing in terms of ratings.

Are you saying I have an unhealthy obsession with Jeremy Renner? Because if you do, you are so right!

But he was/is a SHIELD agent, so it is totally doable! And if there is a will there is a way! Let us hope he will show up! He isn't doing anything except The Bourne film right now though? I think? I am a really bad obsessive fan to be honest...

Yeah, makes people want to see it, I would be less excited if none of the characters I know was in the show, it isn't a big deal which one.

*at least in MCU, I don't read comic books...

Well yea, that is true, but he's still an Avenger too so his character is probably too busy doing more important things. And I think this series is supposed to be (mostly) with new characters (but I could be wrong)!

Renner has six movies on his IMDB page going into 2015. Who knows if more things will pop up before then. (Probably!)

I'm still kind of hoping that the regular Avengers, especially the SHIELD agents Widow and Hawkeye, get the occasional mention. Even if it's just an agent handing Coulson a phone and saying, "Sir, it's Barton again." And then some kind of implication that Clint and Natasha are in the middle of some kind of op-gone-wrong.

Of course, I'm also still hoping Sitwell will come back. Renner might be too much to ask for, what with his whole big movie star thing going now, but Sitwell...we could still have him, right?

I'd like that. Then fandom could make up elborate stories about what they were up to. (Any and all references to the Avengers would be pleasing, but Hawkeye and Widow were there first.)

I feel bad for having to Google him (and I'm still unsure of who he is). Was he the dude who makes the joke about Sif and the Warriors Three? (I should watch that movie again...)

Since he's a smaller character, maybe? (Unless something in Captain America 2 conflicts with it?)
