Favorite TV shows as a kid?

They added The Facts of Life to Netflix, so I've been rewatching it and thinking about all the shows I loved as a kid growing up. Along with this, I absolutely loved Punky Brewster, Designing Women, Golden Girls, Quantum Leap and Murphy Brown.

So, F!S, what movies did you love as kids?

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Thomas the Tank Engine, Rupert the Bear, The Gummi Bears, Grotbags, The Krypton Factor, The Crystal Maze, Rugrats, Animaniacs, then shows like Hey Arnold and CatDog and Ren & Stimpy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Blossom, Saved by the Bell, and...there was one that had a bunch of American teenagers who had a band and I think the title had California in it. And Tintin! I fucking loved Tintin. Even now the music gets me all excited! And I used to watch the various BBC Narnia miniserieses over and over.

I believe the California show was called California Dreamin'? I remember watching that after Saved by the Bell on Saturday mornings, lol.

I totally have the Gummi Bears on DVD. I love that show. <3

I'm in the midst of a severe bout of insomnia, and I've been sitting here just remembering the show.

I have not thought about it for well over fifteen years. And yet I am apparently still annoyed that Lorena and Sly hooked up.

Why, brain? Why??

Ugh, I'd forgotten about that little detail. In my opinion, Sly should've died as an 80-year-old virgin who never so much as held hands with someone else, much less dated anyone seriously.

I totally had a Hugga Bunch doll! I don't recall the movie, but the doll was a favorite for awhile, with it's curly purple hair and soft softness. And velcro hands so it could hug!

God I watched a lot of TV as a kid. I'm with you on Designing Women, Golden Girls and Murphy Brown. I'm with the first anon in the thread on He-man, The Gummi Bears, Rugrats, Animaniacs, Hey Arnold, CatDog, Ren and Stimpy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Saved by the Bell.

Also Doug, Rocko's modern life, The Angry Beavers, Inspector Gadget, Powerpuff Girls, Digimon...

Sadly there are probably others that I can't remember.

Space Cases, Designing Women, Golden Girls, The Munsters, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Saved By the Bell, California Dreams, Aah! Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Road Rovers, basically anything that was on Nick at Nite, Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains It All, The Muppets and All That. There were probably more that I'm not remembering. Yeah, I was a very lonely child and watched a lot of TV--especially Nickelodeon--in order to distract myself from my lack of human friends who wouldn't beat me up and steal from me as soon as the adults weren't looking.
