OP
(Anonymous) 2013-04-10 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)Re: OP
I might try writing some Snape/Lucius/Lockhart in future myself (if that's okay with you?), but that all depends on my muse (and I'm really not much of a writer either). I think it's a great ship - I already liked Snape/Lucius, and I just remembered that I've written a sort-of Lockhart/Lucius drabble before, just a little thing, years ago now, and loved the idea of the pairing. But I hadn't thought of combining them. Could be cool.
Out of interest, do you know what sparked your interest in it while you were reading? I was like five when I started reading the books and never shipped anything back then, so I don't have that kind of experience. :(
/unexpectedly long post
OP
(Anonymous) 2013-04-10 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)But I'd love if you wrote it, that'll be amazing!
Well, I was... 12/13? 14? When I first read it and Lockhart was inmediately my favorite character because I LOVE fops and I shipped him with Snape because of their funny moments in the book, and then as I read later books I also grew to love Snape and Lucius, I began shipping them when I found out they knew eachother and were both Death Eaters. And the Lockhart/Lucius thing happened because again, I love fops and nothing makes me laugh more than the idea of cheerful, clueless Lockhart and a more aloof, intelligent and sarcastic wizard like Snape or Lucius and then Lucius has the bonus of having some things in common with Lockhart as well as with Snape. :D I hope that made a little sense, probably not!
/long post ahoy~
Re: OP
I'll see what I can do. :) But sadly, my muse isn't coming out to play right now, so...
That did make sense, yeah! Personally, I love Lockhart for his bragging and for having the self-confidence to fool so many people into wanting his signature. I find characters like that kind of hilarious... This is all reminding me of why the second book is my favourite, haha. =) But yeah, I can definitely see how they might all associate with one another. It's an excellent OT3!

(Anonymous) 2013-04-11 12:00 am (UTC)(link)Oh, me too, he's so funny. I get why some people find him so annoying they hate him but for me it was always just <333. The Chamber of Secrets is my favorite book as well, I just laughed so much. XD And yes, I just think they probably end up in the same places a lot, although I don't think Snape goes to fancy parties out of his own free will!
Re: OP
Oh, I'm so happy I've found a fellow Chamber of Secrets fan, especially as you also love Lockhart. ♥ I can't understand the hate I've seen for that book really - I think it's the funniest one and it has a good mystery.
Oh, gosh, you're right. Snape is not a partier. XD I was sort of wondering whether this fancy party might have something to do with Hogwarts? So I don't know, they are trying to pick the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor and the governors and any major donators to Hogwarts demand they meet the person Dumbledore is thinking of. Lucius was still a governor at that time, so he'd be there, and Dumbledore could drag Snape along...? Gilderoy is of course over the moon because they are hosting a party with him as the main guest.
OP
(Anonymous) 2013-04-11 11:25 am (UTC)(link)Me too, I think it'd almost everyone else's least favorite book! But I always loved it and especially the fabulous Lockhartness. ♥
Haha, he definitely isn't! But that is such a good idea, I completely forgot Lucius used to be governor. It'd be great if Gilderoy and Lucius start talking at the party and then Lucius, because he's annoyed by Lockhart already and evil, begins to involve poor Snape in the conversation. Why does everything always end in Snape suffering? XD
