In fact, every single one of these chars is fairly archetypal, and people tend to pick an archetype and identify with it, which is why you have people who idolize Javert or Valjean or Eponine or Cosette or Enjolras, etc.

And I've seen the movie and the musical in the theater and heard most of the soundtracks and read the book and did a term paper on Victor Hugo, so I'm not really impressed with your snotty, elitist attitude.
