1. YES! Kino is so much win \o/

2. I'm not saying this just because one of my icons is up there (and I went "WHOA my icon is in a secret!" after opening the cut), but I only agree with you partly. :/ Yes, art by Arina Tanemura and CLAMP is very overused in icons, and yes, icons with the same styles tend to win those icontests. But it's not fair to generalize that all iconists who make icons out of those pictures aren't creative – it is possible to make a creative icon with any image, no matter how generic or overrated, in my humble opinion. It's not the iconmakers who are "better" or "more original" in shounen icontests, it's the images... but hey, that's just me ^^; Regardless of the way you worded it, you've made a good point that needed to be brought up.

36. Aww, that's so sweet T^T I heart Renton too, he's one of the best (teen, male) protagonists ever~
