Wow that's.... hard to believe. I don't think I could handle any more Cersei than is on the show, I get frustrated very easily.

But I guess it helps my point... sort of?

Yeah. For starters, in the books Cersei was the one who engineered the slaughter of the bastards, not Joffrey.

Wait, I think in the show it was clearly Cersei who caused that. Joff in the show sticks to the 'I'm not a bastard child of incest' mentality almost as much as he does in the books, he just doesn't talk about Robert so much. He questions his mother once but at least at the point where they kill the bastard children, he definitely doesn't know the rumors about him. Which makes a difference because the only motivation he would have to kill the bastards would be if he thought there was a serious threat to his claim as the legitimate first heir of Robert's marriage to Cersei.
