Huh, well that sucks. But maybe the lack of interaction makes it seem less taboo to ship father/son? idk they're babes I'd read it.

I wondered about that too, because before them I always thought parent/offspring incest squicked me out... but the fic that I read put a lot of emphasis on the parental relationship, and the characters were conflicted because of that.

In retrospect, I think that what squicked me out in other incestual fics was the fact that one of the characters was always much younger and more immature than the other, so it was probably the power imbalance that made me uncomfortable. Here instead both characters are centuries, even millennia old, so they can be on more of an equal ground, also regarding intellectual and emotional maturity, I think? I don't know...
