It would probably help if the writers knew how to write women. A friend of mine pretty much said she was doomed the moment Dale died. The writers don't know how to handle a woman that doesn't have a link to a male character - whether it be wife, mother, sister, daughter.

Yeah, it's one of the reasons I don't watch that show. Which is a shame, because I love zombies, but the "Why do you suck so badly at female characters," irritation overpowers it all.

I know someone that watched despite the zombie/gore stuff. Pretty glad she decided to wait until season 3 was over and watch it all at once - she was really attached to and related to Andrea. We've all pretty much told her to just give up on the show and not bother with season 3 now. It would upset her too much.

But they had a template. I know it doesn't keep exactly to the comic, but she's head's and tails more badass and non-retarded there. That version could have survived all this (and not have been in half of the situation in the first place)

Thiiiissssss. One of my bigger irks this seasons was the lack of showing how much Michonne and Andrea meant to eachother, because their relationship was pretty much all on the viewer to imagine. Guess they had to shove that outta the way for Andrea and Governor macking times :U

She's one of the few instances where I wish they had kept to the comic gdi.

I've heard some noise that putting Andrea with the Gov was a calculated move to make people hate her. Someone wanted Laurie gone and they wanted her gone bad.
