I thought Anime Detour wasn't until June! Maybe I'm thinking about AnimeMinneapolis.

I can't come but I wish I could to say hello! I know my roommate/bestie went to Detour a few years back but hasn't been able to go in recent years.

/Not from Minnesota but lives literally two miles from the border.

Nope, it's next weekend :) Yeah, I think AniMinneapolis is in June; I don't go to that one, but I was at MoA the weekend of last year and I was so confused about all the cosplayers.

Thanks for the thought, though! If you go to CONvergence, I go to that every year and I'm on ~5 panels this year.

Hah! Me and Angie would love that. Depending on how much tix cost and how much time we have etc maybe we'll go! I didn't know about CONvergence, I don't know if she did either.

I've never been to a con but I've always wanted to go :3 I'm not even a fan of a lot of things at a time and my fandom is really tiny rn but still I love meeting people! If we do end up going to the con I'll hit you up <3

The tickets are reasonably pricey ($60 until May, $100 at the door), but it's worth it, IMO. The people there are really lovely, and while I like Detour, CONvergence is a lot better. Cons are always a blast! So yeah, if you decide to go I'd love to say hi! =D

(As for cons when you're not that into all the stuff, I haven't followed anime in years but I still go because I think cons are too much fun to pass up, haha).
