Dumbo. The scene where the elephants are tripping/in the parade whatever scarred me as a child.

I still haven't rewatched that movie.

I believe it. Old Disney movies can be pretty messed up. Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio are two other Disney movies that were too intense for my younger self.

It's called Pink Elephants on Parade. It absolutely terrified me as a child too.

My parents thought it was my favorite movie though so I ended up watching it often enough...

That's horrible! Why did they think it was your fav? Thankfully, my mom knew I hated the movie, because it made me cry and have nightmares.

Well, I was a shy and quiet kid. Me being scared looked very similar to me being enraptured. I also tend to have a thing about facing my fears. For example, I have a fear of heights but whenever I go to a theme park I always go on the ride that takes you up really high and then drops you free-fall.

Well, I'm glad you only had to watch it once then. Now I'm picturing little you having nightmares and that's so sad.

Wow. You're so brave! I am like "nope, not gonna happen," then I runaway. There have been a few times when I've faced my fears, but for the most part I'm alright with not interacting with heights or sharks.
