He screamed pedophile to me. Lupin says Greyback believes in "bite 'em young" and Greyback even says something to the effect of "you know how I always liked kids" when he's with the Death Eaters in Hogwarts in HBP.

I'd add Draco Malfoy to that list. An obnoxious bully who always gets away with everything and falls in with a seedy crowd? How about every kid who made fun of me ever. That's probably why I don't feel as much sympathy for him as other people do. And I just can't woobify him for that reason.

I think that's why the series captivated everybody: there were all these fantastical elements (including fantastical evil) mixed in with mundane things (including mundane evil, like Umbridge, Lucius, and Snape).

Thinking about this. I was bad bullied in school too, but I still love Draco.

I wonder if he's a kind of wish-fulfilment fantasy in my mind--take the bully and break him and make him suffer for what he's done and then repent. It's also a way of humanising and trying to understand the people who attacked me.
