Little things that make your day

(Anonymous) 2013-04-13 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
So I am reading this Nobel Prize Women in Science book for one of my classes and I get to the chapter on Emmy Noether. It didn't seem to different from the other chapters I've read, and I am just glancing through when I come across something I wasn't really expecting.
Apparently one of Noether's close friends considered her asexual.
I'm not used to seeing any reference to asexuality as an orientation outside of the internet so it made me feel giddy, even though it's just a small thing that no one will ever see.

What are some small things that have brightened your day, either today or in the past?
