Eighteen years working in Child Support Enforcement, and doing a bang-up job, so they promoted me to supervisor and halved my staff (State budget cuts!), and expected me to do my work, another supervisor's work, train two staff members, and do two other staff jobs as well.

I had a tiny melt down during a hurricane (Did I mention this was Florida?), when it was likely there wouldn't be power at my house for another three or four months (Did I mention I lived in Rural Florida? It does exist).

So, I moved north, being assured of quality jobs here, and have yet to find anything even close to what I was doing in Florida, not making use of any of my skills, and am currently working as a clerk at a dollar store, and hating every second of it, but it's the only job I've been able to even get a foot in the door for for the past two and a half years.
