I will say that wearing a compression shirt beats out wearing a bra - though I'm trans and feminine underthings bug me in so many ways, so there's that to consider. But as somebody with ~32D boobs, I've been able to wear a simple compression shirt and it keeps the dang things holstered well enough to forego any other support, and it's much comfier, to boot.

Besides that, they're cheaper than a breast reduction, so if you're not certain about the procedure, I'd also suggest going with that. That said, I think the only thing big boobs are good for is cultural sex appeal - mostly to douchebag dudes who have no idea what a pain in the goddamn ass they are. If they're bothering you, I don't see anything wrong with getting a reduction - what's to regret? You'll be carrying less weight, reducing strain on your back, and it'll get them out of the way and more shirts will fit better. I see no bad here.
