Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction. I wasn't aware that thousands dying was 'not a big deal'. Especially when the Japanese prime minister himself said that it was 'the toughest and the most difficult crisis for Japan' since World War 2.

But, y'know. Glad to know it wasn't actually all that bad and people were freaking out because of ~anime~.

It makes those people talking about Katrina or Sandy to look like real whiners, huh? Walk it off, people!

I don't really read online comics and I didn't read the comic the author wrote about it, but that is just so... what the hell. Criticize people for only caring because of ~anime~, but don't write off the entire tragedy because you do like the way a certain group of people are reacting to it. That's shitty. And, honestly, I really don't care why people cared if they were willing to help a lot of the people who were affected. Thousands of people died. This wasn't a small event that was blown out of proportion by fandom, jfc.

Yeah, I always found Humon a bit hit and miss myself, but she's kinda shitty as a person and that colors all of it. Also her fetishization of black people.
