5. Eh, it's not so bad compared to Wuthering Heights or Jane Austen or everything Dickens ever wrote. And I think it's hard to get the effect sometimes because a lot of the stuff it does is old hat now, but was new (or more new) when the book was first published.

8. I have found one fic with them that I liked. And it was an AU based on someone's RP :(

26. Sheesh, way to be malicious. Assuming that she's not actually plagiarizing, what do you care? It's not like it's her fault that she can't write well yet, and if anything you should be flattered that she's trying (consciously or not) to emulate you.

I think I love you. XD Everyone I've known since my freshman year in high school thinks of me every time they hear the name "Dickens" because I rant forever and ever about the beginning of Great Expectations, how he goes on for A PARAGRAPH about how his name is PIP. I mean, seriously now, what the fuck is that?

And I felt like the only girl in the world who found Jane Austen's works boring.

I haven't read WH (and won't. People tell me is a thousand times worse :P). I don't mind reading old stuff (I love Jane Austen, Victor Hugo and all those writers) It was this particular story I didn't like :/

I agree with you with the Dickens thing. He can be so annoying :P
