1. YES. I mean, yeah he was a total baddie, but I like that he really loved her, rather than just wanted to get under her dress. Plus being played by Richard Armitage don't hurt. ;D The punch was great though.

2. The one on the left, Billy or Freddie?

3. By "death in fandom" do you mean death of a character or death of a person active in fandom?

9. Everyone is gay for Vetinari. Even straight girls.

12. Pence = &hearts &hearts. I love the whole Twilight Town crew, but Pence is especially cute. :) It's always great to have a fat character that isn't a walking stereotype.

13. "beata"?

27. I used to have action figures of them!

34. Christ, yes. Those two just break. My. Heart. I'm trying to remain cynical and not to get myself too worked up into thinking that he'll actually be able to save Ted and it won't be a total "fuck you" moment, but my hopes keep rising in spite of myself. ;_;

I'm not the OP for #2 but we do share an apt. The hero on the left is Tim Drake.

I am the OP for #34 Did you read issue two of Booster Gold? "It's called pay to play Rip. I'm your time monkey. You wanna see me dance, you help me save Ted Kord." God Geoff Johns is trying to kill me. My hopes keep rising higher and higher but I have the nagging gut feeling my heart is going to be ripped out again.

Ah, gotcha. All these black-haired, blue-eyed teen boy heroes look the same to me. ;)

I am the OP for #34 Did you read issue two of Booster Gold?

I did! Hee "time monkey". But Rip's warning makes me think that we're going to get a "Booster does save Ted from Max, only to have him die horribly minutes later from some other thing. Ha ha! Irony!" type deal. :(

I mean, I'm trying to enjoy this series so far, because it's incredibly fun, but with that hanging over my head it gets kinda hard. I think I'm just going to do the mental equivalent of sticking my fingers in my ears whenever I read the new issues.

*nods eagerly* The fact that he truly did love her is what really got to me. As did the way he'd turn into this shy and stuttering mess around her; like when he asked her if she liked the wedding decorations. And yeah, Richard Armitage equals instant WIN XDb

I know! It was such change from the usual "bad guy who wants nothing more than to just ravish the heroine" trope. That he thought that by loving Marian and being a good husband to her he could be "cleansed" of his misdeeds made me go "aww" in spite of myself. XD And I liked that it created a good set up for conflict between her and Robin. If you looked at where Marian was coming from, with the way Guy acted around her, you couldn't really blame her for going "well, he really doesn't seem that bad! I think he could really change for the better" etc. And if you looked at where Robin was coming from, with his experiences with Guy, you can't blame him for going "WTF, are you crazy?" XD

I'll admit, normally I'm not one for villain redemption, but I found myself hoping that those crazy kids would work everything out. Sadly, I don't think that's in the cards for next season and I expect we'll find out that Guy's feelings towards Marian have cooled somewhat. Getting clocked by your bride at the altar will do that.

And yeah, Richard Armitage equals instant WIN XDb

Three words for ya: The Glove Scene. I just about died during that bit.
