I liked the show, but the Bruce/Babs thing was so terrible I can't watch it again.

Ugh, that's a pairing in BB? That sounds bad enough to keep me from ever watching this then.

It was something that apparently happened at some point in the 4+ decades between the end of BTAS and Beyond. By the time of Beyond, it's long since done with and Barbara is happily married to a city official (and is the new police commissioner).

Ok, that's definitely not as bad. I still find it a squicky/out of character pairing, but I think in that context I wouldn't mind it as much

If it helps any, it is implied that the power imbalance between Bruce and Babs was part of the reason it ended badly and they spent 40 years just barely talking. So the squick/OOC is dealt with, at least tangentially. By and large it appears it was not a happy relationship.

Well, that and the Joker and Tim. And possibly Babs letting Harley get away.

It doesn't happen on screen, thankfully. But they did hook up.

That aside, it's an awesome show.

I'm wondering why they decided to make it pairing in the show. I'm not super familiar with the animated/Dini-verse Batman, but it still seems like a very odd pairing to me.
Since they don't actually show it, I think it's not enough of a 'wtf' factor to prevent me from ever getting around to watch Batman Beyond then
