How many of you F!S people talk with each other outside of F!S? Are any of you friends with another poster here?

I have talked to people outside F!S but this is the most active I am anywhere so generally I have most of my contact here. I like the people here though so I wouldn't have a problem with talking with them outside of F!S if they needed me. People should just be aware of how much of a lurker I am most of the time though. I would hate to think I've made someone feel I don't like them simply because I never talk to them on tumblr or something.

I'm friends with a few other followers here, but the one who posts more I don't talk with much anymore, and the one I talk with more doesn't post much. So.

...Er, outside F!S like 'elsewhere on dreamwidth or off' or just off dreamwidth? If we're saying just off the comm I try to comment on people's journals when I remember (which isn't often enough tbh) and there are a few people who I PM with once in a while so...I'd like to think so? But yea, I'm not talking to people on AIM (unless it's kitkat, but she hasn't been here in a good while) or skype or even tumblr (because I don't know how to, IT'S TOO HARD).

(Like forgottenjester, not because I don't like people, it just hasn't happened.)

I ~~stalked~~ friended elaminator on DW and tumblr, but other than that I have like one friend here that I kew before F!S, and another that I met through F!S. Most of my friends outside still read DW, but don't actually comment or anything.

Ooo, I wonder who you are! I don't think many of my DW friends follow me on tumblr (and I'm pretty sure some of the ones who do use different tumblr names).

Actually you and another friend post Vikings a lot but I don't mind! I've wanted to watch it, I just keep forgetting and your posts remind me XD I have the same DW and tumblr name because I'm unoriginal like that, whoooo.

And even more people I know read FS. one of my friends mentioned it randomly and I was like YOU READ FS? She was like who doesn't?! Hahaha I don't always realize how popular this comm is, even if a lot of people don't comment.

Hehe, sorry for the spoilers then! But if you're interested you'll probably be able to catch up pretty quickly when you decide to watch; I think the season is almost over and you can still watch full episodes on the history channel website. (If not... I'm sure there are other places!) And pfft, I wouldn't call it unoriginal. Consistent maybe!

That's awesome! (Do you discuss the secrets with her?) I wish I knew more people IRL who read fandomsecrets. I think fandomsecrets IS probably more popular than we know. There were years where I strictly read and didn't comment so I imagine lots of others do the same.

Haha, I averted my eyes from spoilers so don't worry! Thanks for the tip, I'll check out history's site. I like TV shows better when I can watch them in bunches and not wait a week in between episodes LOL.

Only if there's a secret involving one of our common fandoms. It doesn't happen TOO much, but my fandom friends and I always talk about relevant secrets elsewhere. I know that there's a thread dedicated to FS on something awful, but it's usually making fun of the secrets. XD

Oh yea, that's lovely! Having to wait can be a real pain in the ass if you're super invested and excited about where things are going. (The preview for next weeks Vikings for example...OMG. I'm so worried!)

Righttt. I don't have many common fandoms with my friends so I know that feeling. It is particularly nice when you do share something though, because then you can jabber away and they won't mind. :)

Depends on what definition of friend you use, I got F!S users on my twitter, tumblr. and Facebook, I talk to one user on Yahoo Messenger once in awhile.

I PM with quite a few users when the opportunity arises and I am friend listed with a surprising amount of F!S people both here and/or on LJ, so I read and comment on their (private) entries, just like they do the same to me. Then again F!S is basically the only forum I am active in.

Then we got the ShitStream? Because I try to join that on Saturdays and most of those people are F!S users.

Also my cousin is a sometimes lurker on this forum, if that counts?
