I haven't painted my nails in a long time, but I wish I could. It's fun. (I work with my hands a lot, so the polish gets chipped away really quickly.)

My favorite polish color as a teenager was this really gorgeous dark wine-red that I found at the drugstore one day.

...I kind of want to go get some nail polish and paint my toenails now.

Still, like you said, you could always paint your toes! IDK if your experience would be the same as my own, but when I paint my toe nails the polish usually stays on for a long while. (A month or so.) So if you don't have the time or find it tedious or whatever, you maybe won't have to do it that often.

Yeah, toenail polish always stays on forever! Maybe I'll go out and get some later.

Yeah, I understand. You might want to try the gel nail polishes? They're supposed to be chip resistant due to being gel and not actual nail polish. I've not tried it myself yet although I'm going to. Soon. It's supposed to last for 21 days although I think that's pushing it myself due to color boredom and nail growth.

Ooo, I should've thought of that. That's a good suggestion! I haven't tried it either (for the same reasons) but I've heard it's nice.
