Wasn't the blood donation ep from one of the early seasons though? The one with the steamboat play? Also, from that episode I found it ridiculous when Tori's sister got tuberculosis for a play. It was annoying and unfunny.

That said Jade is pretty much my favorite character on the show, despite the violent episodes. She kind of reminded me of Sam from iCarly but without the juvie. I kind of wish the show had been more of an ensemble piece and we got to see more of the other characters' lives. Just to get more of a balanced reading on them. They kind of did that in a couple episodes but it was primarily Tori and how Tori viewed/interacted with the others. But I liked that she was messed up and it was acknowledged that she was and such. But ymmv so…::shrug::

It was in season two; I misspoke. I just mentally categorize everything after season one as "later" with this show. And I agree. Dan Schneider's idea of humor gets on my last nerve.

Same. I felt like we barely knew half the characters by the end of the show. Tori wasn't interesting enough to carry the show on her own, and I say that as someone who really liked her in season one, before Dan felt the need to turn her into a saint.

Yeah, I kind of do too. Or I base the seasons on Jade's appearance since it changed each time. Ah. Yeah, his humor needs some fine tuning.

I originally liked Tori too in season one. I also originally liked Beck and Cat. But it seemed that as the show progressed Tori turned saintly, Cat turned into an idiot, and Beck turned into some weird one-line robot. I think the reason why I liked Jade was that at least she progressed in some episodes.

Agreed. Although Jade did get flanderized in some episodes, I still felt like they were putting some thought into her, as opposed to Cat's endless "say dumb stuff in an airy voice" schtick and Beck being little more than a prop. Season one wasn't perfect, but it sure looked like it in comparison to everything that followed. :/ I do miss seeing the cast together though. They had really nice chemistry.
