Interestingly, I seem to recall in Thor that Hawkeye was shooting right-handed, but he was shooting lefty in The Avengers. Continuity error, or ambidextrous?

No, Hawkeye was shooting left handed in Thor too.

He's drawing the arrow with his right hand, which is right-handed shooting. He definitely switched hands there.

Hmm. Possibly ambidextrous, but it's also a different bow. And that makes me wonder if it's even his bow, and if not, who the heck else in SHIELD has a bow? I'll call him ambidextrous with a preference for left, considering The Avengers had him carrying equipment that he specifically chose to fight an invasion with. :)
