Unless the schools are making this decision (which they are not) this has no bearing on this conversation. Chances are, the reason education leave is that they can afford to.

I swear someone above said that most teachers didn't get pregnant and have kids, but in every field I've been in, I've seen more teachers leave to have a baby than factory workers/food service/administration/etc.

So yeah, it still relates to the conversation.
