(Anonymous) 2013-04-17 01:45 am (UTC)(link)JK but ya the fan base had a pretty intense meltdown over it. Gerard posted a super short message one night a while back that was basically like we're done bye, people freaked, so he wrote a novel length message that amounted to I don't like this any more (& may have relapsed) and we said we'd stop doing this when it stopped being fun so we're done an moving on but thanks, people freaked but started accepting it, then frank posted something that confirmed it some more (and may or may not have taken a shot at Gerard depending on who you ask). Some folks like to blame the Mikey situation but I don't think so. It seems way bigger than that and like it was brewing for a while.
