no OP put Teacher in par with psychopath because of ~implications~ over a trope that happened years ago but has no bearing on modern times.

Did you come here just to make some half-assed "lolbutthurt" comment. Contrary to popular belief its not being butthurt to be annoyed when someone compares you to a psychopath or makes a rude comment about them.

also , if you're response if any variation of "u mad" I'm just going to assume you're trolling or lacking in wit.

Are you actually going to sit there and pretend that the fact that a stereotype doesn't match up with reality is evidence that the stereotype doesn't exist?

Are all stereotypes true? There are no stereotypes that aren't based in reality (anymore or ever)? Then why's it so hard to believe that people HAVE heard the childless teacher stereotype?

Because I've heard that stereotype a fuck ton of times.

we are never told specifically that every single last female teacher in Hogwarts has no children.

and McGonagall is nothing other than awesome and is not potrayed as less for not having children. Trewlany is actually a good Seer when she wants to be and her being looked at as strange actually has nothing to do with whether or not she has children and more to do with the fact that she is annoying with her ability. Bellatrix was devoted to a callous jackass who didn't care shit for her and would do whatever stupid thing he said because he was ~the Dark Lord~. Also Madam Bones had no children and went out like a badass.

Also there are unpleasant people, like Petunia who do have children.

So yes...I do think OP is looking for things to be offended about-far more 'butthurt' then the people who are going "wtf" at someone dismissing a character is sexist because they are a teacher with no children.

and this is all coming from someone who doesn't plan on having kids either.
