I only remember one joke along those lines and the guy was meant to be seen as a creep. It was gross that he was asking a group of women whether they were prostitutes and even grosser that he then wanted to check to see if any of them had penises. But the joke wasn't that "omg fooled again by the transvestite prostitutes!" but that he was so awful and nasty a character. The women were all rightfully offended by him.

Nope it was definitely a repeated joke. I remember rolling my eyes at the first one and then getting annoyed at the repeats. The woman they replaced in the switch? There were jokes about how she was actually a man. And I recall a couple others.

That's the kind of thing I'm basically talking about - one or two jokes are fine/ignorable, but it's the repetition that takes me out of the comedy and is upsetting. Plus, the whole 'chick with a dick' thing as entire punchline for the joke is pretty unoriginal and unfunny as it is. The same with the sexism I mentioned in my secret - one or two jokes are fine, but an entire series worth of jokes bugs me. Like the joke in the bigfoot episode that the woman was a nymphomaniac, coupled with the fact that Shawn message her because she had a sexy profile pic even though he has a girlfriend - no biggie. But when they've been several episodes where the 'joke' has entirely consisted of a sexually aggressive woman, coupled with how Shawn (sometimes) treats both Gus' girlfriends and his own - it's just adds up and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was particularly shocked in one scene in the Clue homage episode where Shawn was happily talking to the rock star about the hot groupies he'd banged - including the groupie Shawn had proven the rock star had murdered in bed. Like, if I remember correctly they even talked about how hot she was specifically. What is respect for women. WHAT IS RESPECT FOR MURDER VICTIMS.

Um, yeah. Still love Psych, just wish they'd reconsider some of the jokes :/ Even if it was only to make Shawn more likeable! (And this is coming from a fan who likes Shawn)
