Cliffhangers

Are any of you watching TV shows that just aired an episode with a cliffhanger, and the following episode that resolved the cliffhanger hasn't been aired yet? What's the cliffhanger? How long do you have to wait?

Everyone keeps saying Southland was a cliffhanger and since we don't know if there will be another season, lots of people are pretty pissed off. I didn't see it as a cliffhanger so much as ambiguous and I thought it was awesome, especially because we don't know if there will be another season. They didn't paint themselves into a corner with the storylines, which I think would have happened if they'd done it any differently.
