Character Astrology

I think we did something like this here before? But anyway, my partner and I were joking about one of our characters' star sign and tried to pick the funniest/least compatible one off the top of our heads. Of course, it sort of stuck, and after a little digging, found out that the sign was actually ridiculously spot-on, up to and including said character's relationships with two of the other characters' signs (which were a little more carefully picked once the characters were fleshed out). Completely by accident.

I'm not one to put too much stock in astrology and whatnot, but this is a rather hilarious happenstance, and it makes me feel good about their characterizations and relationships.

So what about you guys? Do you have a star sign in mind for any of your OCs? What are they/would they be/should they be? Do your couples have compatible signs? (My partner's been using http://cafeastrology.com/ to look this stuff up, if you needed a good place to start.)

I tend to pick my characters' birthdays based on the sign that seems to fit best (given my next to nonexistent knowledge of astrology) but I pay no attention to pairing compatibility whatsoever - each personality gets a sign, that's it.

this is pretty obscure, but for doctor who, when they came up with an eighth incarnation of the doctor, who didn't get picked up for an actual tv series, they did a bunch of spinoff books. he gets a new companion named fitz, whose birthday is officially march 7th, which makes him a pisces. his birthday/star sign is afaik not mentioned anywhere in the books, but it totally fits him anyway.

he starts out being really irresponsible and wrapped up in daydreams, but also kind and sensitive. so i'd probably guess the writer who came up with him was thinking of that when he chose his birthday. also, pisces is associated with the colour grey... fitz has grey eyes, which are mentioned quite a few times... idk.
