Drugstore makeup for Asian skin?

[personal profile] shinyhappypanic 2013-04-19 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
My friend wants to find a cheap foundation, but a lot of it seems to be based on skin with pink undertones rather than yellow. Anybody know any brands that have shades to suit a pale-skinned Korean?

Are they able to find Korean BB cream? It's not foundation but maybe they can get that.

I think l'oreal's foundations might work. They have an entire series of them that are split into cool, warm or neutral undertones, then into the usual fair-dark colors.

Rimmel's paler shades have peachy (as opposed to pink or yellow) undertones, maybe look at those?

Shiseido's pretty great for pale skin, and they've got lots of subtle variations on each shade depending on your undertones, and even how strong those undertones are.

... Not quite "cheap" though, at least not where I am. But it's good quality!
