I haven't seen her episodes since they aired, but I remember loving the idea of a medical student being a companion, and then feeling like they didn't really make any effort to have that aspect of the character matter. I'd have found ways to use it and distinguish her from other companions. Overall she felt like a good character ill-used by the writing.
