The fact that he "couldn't just come right out and say he never wants to have sex with her again because of the master/slave thing" and yet has to continue having sex with her is what makes it rape. The fact that he couldn't, at any point, just come right out and say he didn't want to have sex with her is what makes it rape. Just because she let him off the hook due to the feelings she had for him doesn't make it not-rape.
