Now, that being said, in my experience, the people who shut these opinions down are doing it because what they're hearing is "you're supporting the problem and you're a bad person who should feel bad for not noticing this". It's a real hotbed of emotion all around.
What I'm hoping is that our generation of fans will grow up to be directors, actors, film makers, ect, and make more progress. For now, venting is fine (especially when done in a non-accusing way) and all we might be able to do. But also, we have to vote with our wallets. Good things are coming.
