Well I hadn't seen that bit mentioned which changes the evidence. Until that it was all "the suspect" which implies not confirmed and, well, you're America. Kinda got a guilty until proven innocence thing going like with Sunil Tripathi. Getting very skeptical with 'news' of late

tbf neither the news nor any governmental agency ever said anything aqbout Tripathi, afaik (people claim to have heard his name on the police scanner but I think it's just a bit of a myth). so it's more social media being crazy and stupid, rather than the police or the media calling someone a suspect who's not. and this isn't the Post doing some stupid shit - this is every news source and governmental agency, saying they're suspected, and also the fact that they went on an insane shooting rampage.

Only Sunil didn't go around shooting up people and lobbing grenades and bombs everywhere. He called the police, told him who he was and that he was innocent. He then went to the media to clear his name. He did it the right way because he was innocent.

The fact that the brothers went on a violent rampage, (who is armed like that anyway. A gun or two I can see. Grenades and IEDs? Nope.) that just screams of being guilty.

And on the off chance they aren't? They are highly unstable and violent individuals whom needed to be taken care of anyway.

Yeah, it totally wasn't them. They just happened to have the same pressure cooker bombs used in the Boston bombing in their car, and just happened to flee from police while chucking grenades out the window. Nahhhh, just a coincidence.
