I'm experiencing a bit of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer resurgence. The first time I watched it, I was pretty much just into it. But now I see it's kind of rife with crossover potential.

So...rec me some of your favorite Buffy crossovers, Fandom Secrets!

Can't remember the specifics, but there have been some really, REALLY good giant epic Doctor Who/Buffy crossovers.

OMG, I need Buffy/Doctor Who like I need LIFE.

Why have I never come across this?

Here's one series/'verse. It's mostly with Ten and Eleven, and it's off-and-on shippy between the Doctor/Buffy but it's mostly plot and the shippiness is mostly supportiveness/understanding and particularly stable or sappy-sweet:

Have you read Satellite Eyes? It's a Twilight/BtVS crossover. :D

One of my absolute favorite Buffy/Supernatural crossovers is:

It's gen, but there's a lot of sexual tension between Dean, Sam, and Buffy. The series is AMAZING.

The author also has another BtVS/SPN crossover series called "Colt", but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

LolaAnn also has a BtVS/SPN series ("Grand Canyon" is the first installment), but it's pretty mediocre. Interesting, and defintiely better than some of the other stuff out there, but not spectacular or anything.

Lastly, there's st_sarieli's "Soul Train" and its sequel "Call and Response". I haven't read "Soul Train" (somehow missed it), but "C&R" was good. It features Spike/Buffy/Dean. Lovely.

Well, there's this fic, which is part of a series but easy to understand without the rest because the important plot points of the series are explained or avoided. It's mostly hilariously cracktastic and partly really unexpectedly poignant and sweet:

I'm actually a pretty big fan of this 7th Heaven crossover. It starts out really awkwardly, mainly because it takes massive aim at the utter ridiculousness that is Annie Camden, but then it turns into, I think, a really powerful story about emotional abuse.
