That might be the beginning of the quote. I've seen some scanslations that keep the dialogue running right-to-left rather than rearranging what goes in which speech bubble.

I've never seen a scanlation that's NOT done it, unless it's based on an existing flopped translation. (Like Blame! being translated from the French translation.) I also haven't seen a professional translation that hasn't for the past ~10 years.

I grabbed it straight from the manga so read from right to left. The full scene is Lambo saying he's never seen Tsuna as his boss,

"But... I think of him as a great brother."

I don't remember exactly when in the plot it was (it might have actually been around the same time as this picture), but one of the only times I've cried because of this manga was when Tsuna was (yet again) freaking out about being boss and involving Lambo in all of the dangerousness even though he was only 5. And then 15 year-old Lambo comes out from left field and says "I know that those were some of the best times of my life," or something to that extent. So, it's okay OP. Adult Lambo is surprisingly the person who knows just exactly what to say to get to you.

That's from this same sequence, actually! :D Chapters 310-313 have the whole fight scene, I think, but 312 & 313 are when we get Lambo being all heartwarming. <3

I always thought Lambo was a interesting character, but damn, it was difficult to like this series with all of the filler, and the Gokudera/that other guy favoritism.

I got into this series just for Lambo and it's been years since I have read/seen it. All I remember is Lambo being a cutiepie and the rest is like, erased from my mind.

That is my favorite part in the entire freakin' manga, no lie. LAMBO ISN'T EVEN MY FAVORITE KHR CHARACTER (even though I love him a LOT) BUT EVERYTHING... THE WHOLE BATTLE LEADING UP TO THIS, THE HILARIOUS PART WHERE HE ADMITS HE NEVER THOUGHT OF TSUNA AS HIS LEADER AT ALL... ONLY TO LEAD IN TO THIS AMAZING AMAZING MOE-MENT OF CUTENESS WHERE HE REVEALS THAT IT'S BECAUSE HE SEES TSUNA AS HIS BIG BROTHER INSTEAD???
