Ahahaaa, did your ex-SO ask what a pallet was or did he just attack first too?

He was like, what is a pallet?

DM: You don't know?

SO: No! I never heard of pallet! (Started getting angry because he was a know-it-all and hated not knowing something that OMG other people knew)

So the DM had the pallet attack his cavalier. The rest of us were dying from laughter.
