no subject
I mean, I read them for myself, so I don't have that associated with it, but I remember just being unable to really even try to write LotR fic, or to even read it for the most part. It just felt weird. Off, somehow.
Sherlock can go either way for me, but at the same time, sorry, but the movie gives people a hot visual image. And the books aren't for everyone.
I dunno, it just seems a silly thing to have a sad over. People like one version of something better, or are more inspired by it. Heck, I write fic mostly because I see something that I want to change or expand upon. And in the LotR books...I really don't see anything like that. They're almost perfect.
