Anon Needs Advice

I'm in a small, old fandom. One of the writers in my fandom died a while ago, and now the place that hosts her works is going to gafiate soon. (The place isn't an archive, it's just a general place, so AO3 can't help out with it.) It's the only place that hosts her stuff. Do you think it's okay to repost her stuff with credit?

I think it's okay. Otherwise her works are going to die with her and that would be a heartbreaking shame.

I don't know. I'd just download the fic and keep it for yourself.

I think it would be okay if you made like a new account or website or LJ or whatever dedicated to preserving the fic... not so much if you just tag it and throw it in between recipes and cat macros in your personal journal, yanno?

Oh, totally, unless someone who specifically knew her tells you otherwise. But yeah, I would. You should definitely save all of her fics for yourself, though, just in case.

I would think so. Reposting with credit would be okay, maybe with a note of why you're doing so?

At the very least, keep copies for yourself.
