I have NEVER met a person who enjoys the sound of someone chewing in a quiet room. Unless it is some kind of weird fetish.

Most people I know don't even notice the sound of people chewing. Unless it's an odd person chomping open mouthed on their doritos or something.

They don't notice in a normal setting. But in a quiet room they do.

That is what I mean; that's the difference. People with Misophonia notice in a normal setting. And it doesn't just bug them they (internally) flip out.
