According to Time, Three Emiratis were kicked out of a festival in Saudi Arabia because the "Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice] members feared female visitors could fall for them" because they were deemed too handsome for everyone's safety.

Curious, I found a pic of one of the men who was deported. He's an actor, model and poet named, Omar Borkan Al Gala...

I feel awful for saying this, but considering how often women around the world are blamed for causing men to feel attracted/aroused because they made the mistake of existing and being female, it's kind of refreshing to see the reverse happen.

My mother and I just talked about this in the car today. Her opinion, in a word...

"What do the authorities think they will do!? That women would suddenly abandon their husbands and would spontaneously go for them?! They are not Nabi Yunus!"

This soon turned into discussing Saudi Arabia and it's laws on women and we both agree that it is a weird place to even think about, even (maybe especially) for fellow Muslims.
