It was pretty useful in figuring out which of the rest of the S3 episodes I probably would and wouldn't like.

Yeah, I get that. I know I was much happier about this half-season of DW when I saw that Stephen Moffat was only writing two episodes ("Bells of St. John" and the season finale).
