Having just followed the link above to check out the strips and started at the beginning -- no, no they're not. It reads like someone read a World History textbook while bored, found things to snicker about, and acted them out with anthropomorphized countries. Which, fine, that's a good way to amuse yourself trying to stay awake in class, and I can see why it's funny, but I don't get why there's a fandom.

I also really no longer understand the secret complaining about people writing Hetalia fic about their "history feels", other than general objection to "feels" as a noun. That's... basically what the strip is? About 90% of the "feels" in the strip boil down to "LOL ___ is so stupid", but that seems like a solid summary.
