The Wide Web

How many sites do you visit regularly, F!S? I stick to maybe less than ten, and that's a little sad.

I actually only have two bookmarked: dreamwidth and my rss reader, where I put basically anything I'm going to want to see on a regular basis. (And my email, I guess, does that count?)

I've tried facebook, tumblr, and twitter but didn't like any of them. I also used to go to jezebel and xojane regularly, but I started to get annoyed at them way too often as well... sometimes I check out what's new on lifehacker. That's about it.

tumblr, pixiv, twitter, and deviantart are pretty much the only places I hang around... Facebook too, I suppose? I like keeping in touch with people and looking at art.

What are we counting here? Communities and forums? Journalism and news websites? Blogs and webcomics? Because depending on which you're talking about, my answer is going to range from 3, to around ten, to around 35 or 40. It's a question of level of engagement.

musingsofamuse
my LJ and dreamwith inboxes
yahoo
tumblr
fandomsecrets
ao3

and of course my homework sites, but I don't go to them for pleasure, so I'm not sure if they count

Whenever I start Chrome, Facebook, GMail, and the TTLG.com forums are all loaded in the tabs. I visit quite a few webcomics, but the sites I tend to cycle through are the ones I named.

gmail, tumblr, facebook, dreamwidth, and usually ao3 at some point during the day.

I used to play Neopets daily, but not so much anymore. Just so many things require spending tons on Neocash now, it's like there isn't a point.

Otherwise, tumblr, fandomsecrets, fail-fandomanon and every other day I go to the anonmeme of my biggest fandom.

Let's see: DW (for FS stuff only), Goodreads, Goldenlake, FFN, AO3, Yahoo and Facebook, Google, LJ. And Gunnerkrigg Court every 2-3 days.

... it's sad that I visit fannish sites more than uni ones.

Twitter, Gmail, Google Reader (for TWoP, FFNet, AO3, and various other fannish/non-fannish sites), LJ, and Youtube.

In my daily bookmarks folder I got: DW, LJ, FB, Twitter, Tumblr and eztv.
I visit both my email accounts quite often, but I got apps for that. I also use youtube basically daily on my phone while commuting.

I go on Cracked and the Not Always Right (and so on sites) oh and Failboook pretty regularly and other than that I don't do much online tbh.

I just counted my bookmarks and I have about twelve sites I frequent to, a few of them Uni sites. As for total number of sites I regularly visit, they generally swing from 10 to 20, depending on the content and how much I am interested in them.

So, by order of tabs in Google Chrome: Youtube, Drama Drama Duck (RP comm I lurk), F!S, imgur, a tumblr page I visit, SkyscraperCity, Paranatural, DeviantArt.

Twitter (well, I use tweetdeck so dunno if it counts), Facebook, LJ, DW (only for F!S), newspaper from my country, 9gag, forum of my career/uni, forum about diabetes (which I do not have, or know anybody who does...), forum about kids with conduct disorders, Gmail. Then most days I also visit some blogs of kids with special needs/illness/etc, trakt to track (lol) my TV shows and torrent sites to download them.
