Yep. I cry at the drop of a hat in movies--I think it's "emotional moment (of any kind) plus soundtrack" that does it. Oh, and I always cry when I see the same parts, no matter how many times I see the movie; no one-offs here. :)

I fall for that too fucking often. Even when I know the moment is ridiculous (badly written, acted) I still fall for it.

Oh, and I always cry when I see the same parts, no matter how many times I see the movie

Sadly enough, I'm usually with you. IDK how many times I've cried at various parts of LOTR. I hear the music and the dialogue and I start weeping. (Urg, I even cried during Lego LOTR. *head-desk*)

(Particularly dire example - yesterday, my thoughts wandered over to parts of The Angels Take Manhattan. I had to bite the inside of my cheek so just the THOUGHT of it didn't make me cry.)

Dear god, Return of the King especially. I introduced my Mum to it, she teased me when I got a bit teary near the beginning, but even she was crying by the end.

Return of the King had so many damn endings and I probably cried at literally every single one. (My whole family was crying by the end, so I felt slightly less pathetic. Your mom had those tears coming for teasing you! :p)

(D: The last ten minutes are like my kryptonite. The hugging and the doctor crying and Amy being brave and that voice-over. Doctor Who people, you bastards.)

She totally did, dammit. Worst part is, I tear up READING parts too, and that doesn't even have music!

(Auuugh this. I think I cried for like ten minutes after it ended. Ponds ;_; )

Heh, I can't even think about [BOOK SPOILER] Aragorn's death in the appendices without tearing up, so I definitely am with you on crying in the book! I bet the scene with Sam and Shelob was a tearjerker for some people.

IT REALLY IS ;_; The music does add a lot - when it hit the 'Don't go where I can't follow' line in the book, I got misty-eyed. In the movie, I pretty much bawled.
