I'm still watching and probably won't stop (unless they kill one of my favorite characters) but I'm very meh about it these days. (Once is about the only show I still share with my mother, and she's pretty much over it. Every episode she says "I don't want to watch this anymore" then watches anyway. lmao.)

Is Ruby one of your favorites? Because I adore Ruby <3 Not enough to watch it just for the occasional glimpse of her, but in theory.

Yessssss, Ruby is glorious. I wish she had more scenes! (Maybe next season? Doubtful, but I can hope.)

If I was watching for just Ruby I would give up. I love the Charming family (I know, I'm one of the few) so they're my main reason for sticking with the show right now.

All the fandom favorites (Regina, Rumple, Hook) do nothing for me.

(I want Mulan and Aurora back, arg.)

Ruby's the best <3 I hated the last Ruby-focused episode though, it felt so weird and truncated and Meghan Ory's been a fairly decent actress throughout but that was one episode where I feel like her acting took a weird turn.

I love the Charmings (Emma especially, which I gather is even less of a popular opinion), but I just HATE how the show has treated them: like, Snow makes a quick decision TO SAVE HER FAMILY and like THE WHOLE TOWN AND WORLD and now she's suddenly ~black of heart~? IDK it's Disney but I'm tired of how simplistic everything is.

I think Regina is beautiful and at times quite sympathetic, but it's hard to come back from the rape thing and I don't feel like the show has even recognized it for what it was, so that makes me feel icky. And I hate Rumple (and Belle tbh, Belle almost more because she's just so blase about what a bad guy Rumple is based purely on the fact that what, he kept her prisoner and made her laugh a couple of times? and SHE'S presented as the good guy and monster tamer, uh-huh, sure). I find Hook kind hilarious though; like he's a bad guy but a) he's pretty terrible at it and b) the show acknowledges he's a bad guy.

I like Aurora okay and I was really excited about Mulan being on the show (she's my favorite Disney princess), but ugh, I hated how she was turned into such a dour Warrior Chick. Like my favorite part of Disney!Mulan is that she's kind of a dork AND a good, smart fighter.
