I agree.

I mean, I'd totally put in warning for gore, violence, or non-con sex...but, there's things that can give away plot points (like character death, or being very specific about the type of violence etc). There's also things that are just very specific triggers, and I don't think it's reasonable to warn for everything that could possibly be problematic.

This. I warn for explicit depictions of non-con, violence, or abuse, and that's it, because those are the kind of things that could be upsetting or off-putting even to people who don't have triggers. Beyond that, I give a rating, a genre label, and a summary. That should be more than enough information for people to choose whether they want to read what I write or not without giving away anything about the plot in the process.
