Curious: why did you use the term "Manichean"? I mean, there are plenty of philosophical and religious systems that require to make a clear distinction between good and evil/to state clear and unambiguous opinions, and Manichaeism is one of those we don't really know anything about. There are almost no original sources.

My apologies. I used the term for the modern meaning, of dualism and the (false) dichotomy between polar opposites (for example: "good/evil") with no shades of gray. I have weird friends and it's a word we frequently use while engaged in this kind of discusions. So I didn't think about the religious connotation the sentence could bring forth. Sorry.

Ah, I see. It's fine) No one from my circle of acquaintance uses it this way, and I only know of it because of my interest in philosophy, that's why I automatically assumed it was related to the ideology itself.
